Hair Dye Answers

I have natural red hair & would like to add a diferent colored extension to give it the dyed tips look.would this work? if so, what color should i used? i was thinking lighter red, blonde or black.

Ok so heres the deal this summer i’m going through a transformation in the end of the summer i’m gonna die the tips of my hair purple but what i need is some suggestions my hair is like below my shoulders so i dunno should i cut it short like spiky ish on the ends & die the tips purple or get it like an uneven spike look with long hair & those dyed purple? also i have these carmel brown highlights in my hair that are slowly going away so i have to factor it in but ok so if u cuould mayb show me pictures from online with purple tips or if u need a pic of me 2 determine just ask please i really need to make a good decision

ok last yr i dyed my hair a blond color
and the blond is still in my hair at the tips. i want 2 dye my hair a dark purple at the tips where its still blond.. do i still HAVE 2 bleach it? what happends if i dont?

I dyed my hair last week & I used Loreal Paris hair dye. I bought the brand name color saving shampoo & I am using the conditioner it comes with once a week as the package directs. Is there any things I should or shouldnt do to keep my hair color intact?

Hi. I have dyed red hair, & a few days ago when i was bleaching my daughters hair, i decided to bleach some of my bangs. It turned out really well, a pretty blonde. However, I need to redo my roots of the rest of my hair red. Any ideas how i can do this without getting any red on the new blonde? (I do it myself, not professionally) thanks!!

I’m planning to dye the tips of my hair blue while there is like a green patch on the top of my hair or the other way around. Or should I dye it just one color, give me suggestions & examples please.

i have blonde hair, & i was recently thinking about dying it brown/auburn ,but only semi permanent. are there any downfalls to this that i should know about? such as, the color not fulling washing out, the color turning out funny….?

i am white & want to dye two peices of hair blonde…or at least lighter than BLACK…which is my natural hair color..i have dyed my hair multiple times…always came out GREAT!!! except ONE time..LOL…i dyed my whole head (stupidly blonde with bleach which was DUMB because a couple friends & i ran away from home when i was 12 & i was the only one with BLACK hair so we decided to STEAL bleach!!!!and we poured it over my WHOLE head) (omg STINGS LIKE HELL!! LMFAO) (turned green because my hair is SO black!) LOL!!! idiot!!! anywhoo..i am now 21 & have always had red tips NOT PROFESSIONALLY …but now i have let my hair grow naturally & i am completely black with TONS of gray hairs (which i dont really care about) i just want blonde tips on the two peices of hair that FRAME my face…i CAN’T dye them with perfessional sh*t because i am so freaking poor…can i do it with peroxide?!?! please help!!! PLEASE!!

I just dyed two purple streaks on either side of my head (underneath, not on top).
I have a little hair dye left over, so I was thinking of dyeing the tips of my bangs.
Would this be weird, or ok?
It’s kind of a lavender color, & I have dark brown hair with short side bangs that go across my forehead (but not straight).

This summer, having a lot of time off school, I dyed my hair neon pink, & when that faded, I did it turquoise.
I have school tomorrow, & they have it in for me for not wearing my uniform correctly, & always dyeing my hair co lours that are not natural.
Most of the turquoise is out, but there is some pastel green in some parts of it :/
Does anyone have any tips to get it out? Preferably stuff I can find around my home, but I need any tips at all.

i’m 13 years old & have dark brown hair. for Halloween i want to dye the tips of my hair an electric blue, & i want them to be bold & noticeable. Halloween is on a Friday, so i need the color out of my hair by Monday [school]. i don’t know much about dying hair but i know that i need a hair dye that will wash out in 3 days. please tell me a good brand or store to buy it from/ advice about dyeing

If i lightened it to like a light brown first would that be bad? I’m only doing the underside of my hair.

I bought purple dye to dye my hair. I only want to dye the tips/ends of my hair only. My hair length comes to wear my armpit begins lol. So how would i go about this? Has anyone done this before & give me some steps on how to? I want it to be pretty even & i don’t know how i would do this.
