Hair Dye Answers

i know you cant see what i look like, im afraid i dont have a picture, but i have quite light brown hair & im thinking of getting it professionally died on saturday. i’d like to go blonde, i just think it would be nice for the summer & i reckon it would suit me. is this a BIG mistake going from brown to blonde? if anyones done this please let me know how it went & whether you were pleased with the results x

My hair is a medium brown color & I wanted to dye it dark brown, so I went to a stylist & she put a “permanent” color in my hair (which faded after 2 washes to a ginger color) so I decided to try to dye it a dark brown at home. Only now it looks like a red/ginger color. Its only a temporary color wash-out but how can I avoid making the same mistake next time? Should I be using a near-black color to make sure it doesn’t have a ginger/red tinge? I have just used a color that was in between medium brown & black.

I bleached my hair & then dyed it purple. But then i went in the pool… bad mistake. It was permanent purple hair dye from hot topic. But know my previoulsy bleached & then purplified hair is turning the same ugle brown its always been!!! why is this… it makeds me so sad… i didnt hink it was possible for bleached hair to turn brown again… i thought if anythign it would turn blonde & i could just dye it again…

my hair is all the down to my hips & its kinda layered but will i be making a huge mistake if i put 1 inch of hot pink…? cuz i dont wanna dye my hair i never did & i never will im 15 by the way

My hair is naturally dark brown. I once made the mistake of dyeing it a lighter brown w/ blonde highlights from the box color, & it came out horrible. Came out really brassy, so i had it re-dyed with highlights in the salon. It was still brassy, so I had it dyed my regular dark color a couple months ago. Now, it is back to being brassy! My hair has a red/orange undertone, & I want to get rid of it! help…

I went to a hairdresser in the CBD today & asked if they had green hair dye & she showed me the different colours of Fudge hair dye they had & she told me they didnt have the green one anymore. And then she told me that it would’ve only lasted 3 or 4 washes in my hair anyway, since I would have to get it bleached before applying it.
Is this true? And does this apply with Manic Panic/Special Effects? And if I’m not mistaken.. Fudge hair dye is just semi-permanent, isn’t it? Is Manic Panic & Special Effects semi-permanent as well? How long does it last?
Also, can someone suggest places in Sydney where I can get my hair done professionally [they have to have green hair dye too].

I was just wondering, I just dyed my hair a dark, dark brown & was doing it myself for the first time. I wanted to get the color on my roots good so they were well-colored but I rubbed it into my scalp too much & now the color of my scalp looks funny compared to my hair. Has anybody done this? Is there a way to fix it or do I just have to wait until the color starts to fade?

I originally have dark brown hair, & I dyed my hair black (worst mistake I’ve ever done to my hair), I want to remove black hair dye. Would Loreal Color Zap work? If it does, would my hair turn back to dark brown, or would it turn into some different color since Color Zap does contain a small amount of bleach?

Is there an natural homemade remedy that will make it go jet black. Mz hair is kinda honey blonde in some places & mousey in others & quite dark brown mostly all over.
OR how can I pretend I mistook hair dye for something else?
I CANT dye it & tell my Mum.

WHAT’S WEIRD is it says “anniversary 1970″… could it be that he put that by mistake? Because I’m sure he isn’t over 20. He doesn’t seem gay at all but what scares me is this profile’s interests says “working out, tattoos & hair” that is SO him. You know the story, yeah I had naturally brown hair & dyed it brown. Now I tried to dye it back blonde & you probably know what happened.. It turned orange-ish yellow. Well, I tried to fix that by buying a home stripping kit but all that did was make it a little bit lighter. It is still yellow with a little bit of orange. What can I do to fix it? Do I have to dye it brown again? Is that the only way to cover up my mistake? Or can I dye it a medium/dark blonde? Can I dye it from a box or is it a MUST to go to a professional? Hi there. For years i have had blonde hair, but making an aweful mistake of using a lighter shade than normal, i had a hair disaster & had to dye it red to cover it up. However when i say red, you can still clearly tell it was blonde before, & has faded to a sort of pinkish shade. It’s actually lighter than my natural colour (mousey.) So i’m thinking it would be safe to dye it blonde again? If i did it twice would & used a toner would the orangey bits be gone? Please don’t tell me to go to a salon, i have about £20 to my name lol! So i have natural dirty blonde hair & i bleached it a while back. I decided i wanted to go brown & used to boxes of dark brown hair dye.. That was a mistake i now have well brownish greenish hair… I would like to get it bleached again (professional) But would it turn green? Please help, thanks

last summer, i used sun-in. (the WORST mistake of my life!) & it would not fade, so i dyed my hair dark brown. but the brown had a lot more red in it than i had originally thought. so my hair looked like a mess, especially since the sun-in showed through the dye. so i stopped using color-care shampoo, & im trying to get my hair back to its natural color. (which is dirty blonde.)
right now, its a really nasty dull shade of brown & its pretty ugly. but i dont wanna dye it again! what should i doooooo??

I did not know i was pregnant till around 12 weeks, & had a horrible hair dye experience & went through several bleaching processes (hairstylists mistake!). In two weeks they used bleach probably 7 times. did anyone maybe not have so many bleachings but still did some during their first trimester & have a normal healthy baby? I worry about that all the time!
