Okay, so I have gay friends, & I have a pretty good gaydar so I can usually tell if someone is gay. I live in a small town & decided to look up my gym crush. Here’s what I know about him; he walks around shirtless in the gym, has tattoos & has abs/muscles, dyes his hair, always brings guy friends into the gym & he looks at me a lot- especially when I’m not looking (my dad said he kept seeing him look at me). I DON’T know his name. I was planning on talking to him but now my confidence is shattered. I found a facebook profile with a picture of a cartoon samurai (which is weird cuz he looks like he’s 19) & he has one Japanese tattoo on his back.

WHAT’S WEIRD is it says “anniversary 1970″… could it be that he put that by mistake? Because I’m sure he isn’t over 20. He doesn’t seem gay at all but what scares me is this profile’s interests says “working out, tattoos & hair” that is SO him. My confidence is shattered… & I’ve been planning on talking to him for a while. Could this be some other guy? I mean, I live in Hawaii… tattoos are popular here & a lot of guys dye their hair. I just don’t want to hit on a guy who isn’t straight. But if this IS him, why does he keep checking me out at the gym?

You know the story, yeah I had naturally brown hair & dyed it brown. Now I tried to dye it back blonde & you probably know what happened.. It turned orange-ish yellow. Well, I tried to fix that by buying a home stripping kit but all that did was make it a little bit lighter. It is still yellow with a little bit of orange. What can I do to fix it? Do I have to dye it brown again? Is that the only way to cover up my mistake? Or can I dye it a medium/dark blonde? Can I dye it from a box or is it a MUST to go to a professional? I know it is going to fry my hair I’m prepared for that though.

Hi there. For years i have had blonde hair, but making an aweful mistake of using a lighter shade than normal, i had a hair disaster & had to dye it red to cover it up. However when i say red, you can still clearly tell it was blonde before, & has faded to a sort of pinkish shade. It’s actually lighter than my natural colour (mousey.) So i’m thinking it would be safe to dye it blonde again? If i did it twice would & used a toner would the orangey bits be gone? Please don’t tell me to go to a salon, i have about £20 to my name lol! So i have natural dirty blonde hair & i bleached it a while back. I decided i wanted to go brown & used to boxes of dark brown hair dye.. That was a mistake i now have well brownish greenish hair… I would like to get it bleached again (professional) But would it turn green? Please help, thanks

last summer, i used sun-in. (the WORST mistake of my life!) & it would not fade, so i dyed my hair dark brown. but the brown had a lot more red in it than i had originally thought. so my hair looked like a mess, especially since the sun-in showed through the dye. so i stopped using color-care shampoo, & im trying to get my hair back to its natural color. (which is dirty blonde.)
right now, its a really nasty dull shade of brown & its pretty ugly. but i dont wanna dye it again! what should i doooooo??

I did not know i was pregnant till around 12 weeks, & had a horrible hair dye experience & went through several bleaching processes (hairstylists mistake!). In two weeks they used bleach probably 7 times. did anyone maybe not have so many bleachings but still did some during their first trimester & have a normal healthy baby? I worry about that all the time!

I had my hair highlighted light blonde after having dyed it black. My natural hair color is light brown with natural lighter streaks through it. Anywho, my hair grew out from it being highlighted blonde, & I didn’t want it light anymore, so I got a color that I thought was close to my natural color, Ultra Light Ash Blonde. What a mistake! It ended up turning my roots brownish red & the rest of my hair is grayish tan. I know my hair is probably thoroughly fried at this point & may have to chalk it up to wearing a hat for a while. If anyone has any solutions out there, please help me!!!

I made a mistake & let my friend cut my hair, well m ymom took me in to get it fixxed, & now its too short for my league. i’m only 13 & seriously need a way to grow my hair long.
Also can someone tell me a good reason to dye my hair my mom is making me wait until im 16 unless I have a good readon & Expressing my personality” isnt good enough.

Okay, i have dark brown hair, & always thought it was boring & stupid, so i got a blonde highlight kit (BIG mistake) & done it & at first i didn’t like it, but i got used to it & i think it looks okay-ish, anyway i really want my dark brown hair back, as i cut my hair into a bob cut which is in this summer & really want my block hair colour back. So I’m going shopping later & wondered if there was any permanent chocolate/dark brown hair dyes that will cover the blonde…. as ive read horror story after horror story about it going ginger, blue & even green!
Please no horrible answers, I’m not some silly little girl, i fancied a change that i got used to but now i want my old hair back.
I cannot afford professional so please don’t tell me to go professional

I had a little disaster only 3 days ago with blue/black & red hair dye. I used to have beautiful natural chocolate colored hair & I made the mistake of wanting to look unique.
I seriously want to strip it of the dark, emo colors (i hate my hair right now) & get it back to my natural, light brown hair.
PLEASE HELP & give me advice on how to do this!!!!

i really want to get the Flashlightning kit by Manic Panic to bleach sections in the front of my hair.
At the moment, my hairs pretty dark brown & i’ve heard that the bleach kit by MP is pretty good for lifting color.
i’m in the UK at the moment in the South East, i was wondering if there were any actual shops i can buy it at?
i know they have a website but i don’t want to get it online.
if not, could anyone recommend a really good bleaching kit that i could use to make the sections in my hair a really white blonde color in just a few sittings?
i know, its really bad for your hair, so please don’t lecture me on that, but i’m impatient & dont want to have to go through the orange/yellow stages.
i don’t have a budget as such, so any good kits would be nice :]
but that doesnt mean you can say “just go to a hairdresser”
too much hassle + i want to do it myself because i know what i want, & hairdressers sometimes make mistakes.

I really have an urge to go blue-black, because I’ve just always loved that color. My natural color is an ashy, desaturated light brown, but I’ve dyed it a dark brown twice over the past six months or so. (Herbal Essences ‘Foxy Brown’) It looks good dark, but I’m a little apprehensive about going to the extreme. I have blue-green eyes that tend to change to straight blue. My skin is pretty pale on my face, but still warm. Also, my hair is pretty thin/fine – I have to use volumizing shampoos & a round brush, blow dry upside-down, all that. Would I be at risk of showing my scalp too much if I went darker? It wasn’t a problem with the dark brown, but I don’t want it to become a problem with blue-black.

I had a light black/ very dark brown hair to start with & I bought a box to make it a lighter brown. The color turned about 2 inches out from my roots ( The lighter color) but not the rest of the strand. Is it safe for me to go & buy another black kit & use it & cover the mistake? Id like to re do it tommorow.. is that safe at all?
Also should I go & sleep in some Cholesterol tonight to make it more mosurised for when I do dye it again? So that the hair in turn is healthier? & not dry?!!?!?!?

i died my hair way to dark by mistake, how can i lighten it just a little with hosue hold products?

okay so i got my hair dyed dark brown 2 weeks ago. It had lots of blond highlights in it & it has faded some. my hair lady used semi-permanent. like the color is definitelyyyy still there. its just my highlights are showing some now & it isn’t as dark brown as when i first had it dyed.
so, i have never dyed my hair myself before. i have always gotten my hair lady to do it. I want to get my hair dyed again but my mom wont let me since i go to a pricey salon it would cost like 75…
so i want to go to walgreens tomorrow & buy a box of dark brown dye. im veryyyyyyyy scared it wont come out the way i want it to or will ruin my hair or not work very well. pretty much anything that could go bad im veryy very scared of.
so my question is, would it be a mistake to do it myself? should i wait?

My hair is naturally strawberry blonde/ginger, but i’ve recently been dyeing it brown… dark brown… purple/red… then brown again, & now my ginger roots are once again showing.
I’ve been thinking strongly that i am determined to remove my hair dye & go back to my actual natural colour (without trying to dye it back to ginger with another dye). Once i have my ginger back my mum & my best friend said it would look nice natural with bronze/red & blonde highlights in it & we have a professional hair dresser who can do that for me to make it look at it’s best.
But what i’m really asking is basically in the title… how can i remove my current hair dye? My mum’s going to give my hair dresser a proper talk about it & ask how to remove it.. but i want to know what YOU think & if YOU’VE had experience with removing hair dye… especially brown dye from strawberry blonde/ginger.
