Hair Dye Answers

Ok so heres the deal this summer i’m going through a transformation in the end of the summer i’m gonna die the tips of my hair purple but what i need is some suggestions my hair is like below my shoulders so i dunno should i cut it short like spiky ish on the ends & die the tips purple or get it like an uneven spike look with long hair & those dyed purple? also i have these carmel brown highlights in my hair that are slowly going away so i have to factor it in but ok so if u cuould mayb show me pictures from online with purple tips or if u need a pic of me 2 determine just ask please i really need to make a good decision

is it possible to dye hair with loo bleach & how would i do it?

I dyed my hair two months ago light brown , my natural hair color is dark brown now the difference is greater then i expected now that the roots are coming in . Could i redye my hair dark brown so i wouldnt have to go through the root process with a colour that looks very different from my own & not end up with a mixture of both dyes & give my hair a yucky colour?

Ok , well I want to dye my hair but my school has in the dress code a rule that says no unnatural hair colors. So I want to dye my hair like a blond or reddish -brown. I am a brunette & I have thin hair. Thanks :]

I know that I shouldn’t dye my hair with henna on top of colored hair but is there a certain period of time I can wait (a couple of months or so) & then dye it with henna?
Has anyone tried it after hair color & how did it work out?

hi, i wanted to know if its okay just to bleach the under hairs, like in the back, with bleach.. i have tried manny times with blonde hair dye, & i wont work, & i dont want to go to a salon, lol. so please tell, me. yeah i know i wont wash out, buuuuttt please answer

these are the instructions i will be flowing for a couple days do lighten my hair color
* Mix 1 cup organic lemon juice & 3 cups Chamomile tea. Message into your hair & spend some time in the sun. Far faster results repeat a few times a week.
* Mix up mashed organic Rhubarb with 4oz organic pineapple juice. Let the mixture soak into your hair & spend some time in the sun.
* Mix 3/4 cup honey with 1 1/2 cups organic plain yogurt to damp hair. Massage into your hair & wrap head in saran wrap. Let sit for up to eight hours & rinse.
* Mix 4 tablespoons Cinnamon with 8oz yogurt. Message into hair & let it soak in for 30 minutes.
also, I’ll be darkening part of my hair
* Boil down 1/2 cup of dry organic Sage in 2 cups of water. Strain & massage into your hair. Leave in for 40 minuets & rinse.
* Boil down 1/3 cup walnut shells, 3 black tea bags in 2 1/2 cups of water. Strain & massage into hair. Leave in until next shampoo.
* Steep a strong tea from black tea leaves & cherry bark. Let steep until the color is as dark as it can get. Massage into clean hair & leave in until next shampoo.
* Brew some coffee. Leave it black & allow it to cool. Massage into hair & let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse hair with warm water.
i find many of these ingredients in organic shampoos & soaps so I’m assuming that this will not only do no damage but may actually be healthy for my hair.
or am i wrong? is this healthy for my hair?
and when I’m lightening my hair, i don’t want to go out into the sun. I have a naturally tan completion & my skin is exactly the way i want it to be, i hate the sun in my eyes, the bugs, & all the fresh air! eeewww! hehe
do you think i’ll be just as successful with a bright lamp?
when you write in lemon juice, you usually just put it under a lamp to see it
and if i can use a lamp, should i use the squiggly bulbs or the not so healthy for the planet bulbs?
I also heard you can dye your hair with henna

Size: I’m pretty average, not tooth pick nor fat
Style: Kinda grunge or “scene”
History (Hair): I’ve tried scene/emo hair & I’m just bored of it & plain straight hair
Kind of Hair: Well my roots are a little coarse but my hair is straight although, it’s not “Caucasian straight”
Length: Goes to my shoulders but not long enough to rest there
What I don’t want: I don’t want anything too difficult because I only have, like, 35 or 45 minutes to get ready in the morning, I don’t want to use that much hairspray, & I don’t want a haircut so please don’t suggest it

So i have natural dirty blonde hair & i bleached it a while back. I decided i wanted to go brown & used to boxes of dark brown hair dye.. That was a mistake i now have well brownish greenish hair… I would like to get it bleached again (professional) But would it turn green? Please help, thanks

I have dark brown hair, now. I dyed it black 7 months ago with a hair dye that was supposed to wash out in 28 washes. It is still half in, it looks horrible. I was wondering, will the color show if I put bright red Henna in it? it will turn a shade lighter, or look really bad?

I had a light black/ very dark brown hair to start with & I bought a box to make it a lighter brown. The color turned about 2 inches out from my roots ( The lighter color) but not the rest of the strand. Is it safe for me to go & buy another black kit & use it & cover the mistake? Id like to re do it tommorow.. is that safe at all?
Also should I go & sleep in some Cholesterol tonight to make it more mosurised for when I do dye it again? So that the hair in turn is healthier? & not dry?!!?!?!?

okay so i got my hair dyed dark brown 2 weeks ago. It had lots of blond highlights in it & it has faded some. my hair lady used semi-permanent. like the color is definitelyyyy still there. its just my highlights are showing some now & it isn’t as dark brown as when i first had it dyed.
so, i have never dyed my hair myself before. i have always gotten my hair lady to do it. I want to get my hair dyed again but my mom wont let me since i go to a pricey salon it would cost like 75…
so i want to go to walgreens tomorrow & buy a box of dark brown dye. im veryyyyyyyy scared it wont come out the way i want it to or will ruin my hair or not work very well. pretty much anything that could go bad im veryy very scared of.
