Ok so heres the deal this summer i’m going through a transformation in the end of the summer i’m gonna die the tips of my hair purple but what i need is some suggestions my hair is like below my shoulders so i dunno should i cut it short like spiky ish on the ends & die the tips purple or get it like an uneven spike look with long hair & those dyed purple? also i have these carmel brown highlights in my hair that are slowly going away so i have to factor it in but ok so if u cuould mayb show me pictures from online with purple tips or if u need a pic of me 2 determine just ask please i really need to make a good decision

i want to add a crazy color to my hair but its brown so i have to lighten & i almost killed my hair with bleach its ok & i want to dye it again so can i use a blonde thats not bleach & get the same results?

i have naturally pitch black hair & i wanted to die it to a medium or dark brown so what color hair die do i get

i want to temporarily dye my hair a light brown but my hair is a darker brown. Do i kneed to bleach it? Is there a product that i can use to dye my hair temporarily without bleaching it?

i am white & want to dye two peices of hair blonde…or at least lighter than BLACK…which is my natural hair color..i have dyed my hair multiple times…always came out GREAT!!! except ONE time..LOL…i dyed my whole head (stupidly blonde with bleach which was DUMB because a couple friends & i ran away from home when i was 12 & i was the only one with BLACK hair so we decided to STEAL bleach!!!!and we poured it over my WHOLE head) (omg STINGS LIKE HELL!! LMFAO) (turned green because my hair is SO black!) LOL!!! idiot!!! anywhoo..i am now 21 & have always had red tips NOT PROFESSIONALLY …but now i have let my hair grow naturally & i am completely black with TONS of gray hairs (which i dont really care about) i just want blonde tips on the two peices of hair that FRAME my face…i CAN’T dye them with perfessional sh*t because i am so freaking poor…can i do it with peroxide?!?! please help!!! PLEASE!!

If i lightened it to like a light brown first would that be bad? I’m only doing the underside of my hair.

do i do the top first or the bottom first?
can i do them both at the same time?
also can you reccomend any brands for hair dye?

these are the instructions i will be flowing for a couple days do lighten my hair color
* Mix 1 cup organic lemon juice & 3 cups Chamomile tea. Message into your hair & spend some time in the sun. Far faster results repeat a few times a week.
* Mix up mashed organic Rhubarb with 4oz organic pineapple juice. Let the mixture soak into your hair & spend some time in the sun.
* Mix 3/4 cup honey with 1 1/2 cups organic plain yogurt to damp hair. Massage into your hair & wrap head in saran wrap. Let sit for up to eight hours & rinse.
* Mix 4 tablespoons Cinnamon with 8oz yogurt. Message into hair & let it soak in for 30 minutes.
also, I’ll be darkening part of my hair
* Boil down 1/2 cup of dry organic Sage in 2 cups of water. Strain & massage into your hair. Leave in for 40 minuets & rinse.
* Boil down 1/3 cup walnut shells, 3 black tea bags in 2 1/2 cups of water. Strain & massage into hair. Leave in until next shampoo.
* Steep a strong tea from black tea leaves & cherry bark. Let steep until the color is as dark as it can get. Massage into clean hair & leave in until next shampoo.
* Brew some coffee. Leave it black & allow it to cool. Massage into hair & let sit for 15 minutes. Rinse hair with warm water.
i find many of these ingredients in organic shampoos & soaps so I’m assuming that this will not only do no damage but may actually be healthy for my hair.
or am i wrong? is this healthy for my hair?
and when I’m lightening my hair, i don’t want to go out into the sun. I have a naturally tan completion & my skin is exactly the way i want it to be, i hate the sun in my eyes, the bugs, & all the fresh air! eeewww! hehe
do you think i’ll be just as successful with a bright lamp?
when you write in lemon juice, you usually just put it under a lamp to see it
and if i can use a lamp, should i use the squiggly bulbs or the not so healthy for the planet bulbs?
I also heard you can dye your hair with henna

sort of like a ruby red, scarlett color. not candy apple red, lol. anyways, I heard that there is some line of hair dye that they sell @ Sally’s, by L’Oreal. Supposedly it can dye your hair even if it is dark (like mine is a medium brown color) so I wanna see if anyone on here has used it & liked it? Esp. if you have dark hair.

I have naturally blonde hair but I dyed it nearly black but I want to go back!
I’m trying to let it grow out, so now I have several inches of my blonde but I can’t wait for it to grow out, I need help figuring out how to go back without ruining my hair.
I have long, healthy hair. Its not dry or brittle at all, but it is very dark (from the hair dye).
I’m okay with having it cut to just above my shoulders if needed, but I would prefer to keep the length.
Can you please give me the steps (and products!) that I need to do to fix this? I know it won’t be my natural color, but thats okay as long as its blonde & not near black anymore.
Oh, & I need to do it myself, I’m in college & cannot afford a salon. I do have someone to help me though so I don’t miss any spots.

I want to dye it dark dark red,If I just put the dye over the soft black would it catch on even a little bit?

i have medium to dark brown hair, long & curly. i want to dye/ bleach it blonde at home. ive tryed it before but it frizzed my hair & went orange! but i dont lear from my mistakes, im only 16 so i have all life to fix mistakes lol

Around 4-5 months ago, i dyed my hair browny-red & put bleach blonde foils through it. It didn’t really work out because of the brown, & my hairdresser i couldnt bleach it any lighter than a sort of honey colour or it would snap.. anyway, ive got massive re-growth now, & I feel like a change anyway. I was thinking of dying it jet black & bleaching sections of it platinum blonde in a few weeks. would that work? i don’t want it to go that honey colour again, & there’s still than brown colour in my hair..
Also, my hair isn’t dead or anything. It’s actually pretty healthy considering that i straighten & dye it, since i use a bunch of leave in conditioners & treatments, I get it trimmed alot, & my hair’s just naturally nice to me, lol… I just want to know if I could bleach it, without worrying about it snapping or not being able to get the right colour.
