Hair Dye Answers

What do you think? My hair is just like in my avatar picture now. I am a guy, & I’m going for more of a scene look. Any hints, pointers, tips? I’m considering doing it myself but I’m probably going to get it done professionally. I’ve been told the tips might come out a little orange, & I don’t want that at all, so how can I prevent this?

My hair is brown with some blonde highlights in it. But the highlights don’t go all the way down to the end. My hair is very curly, & i would like to keep it that way, but I like to iron it once in a while. I want to dye the tips red. I have bangs, but I dont know if it would look good with the tips of my bangs dyed. What is an easy way to do it myself at home?

If you do, can you give me the directions for the applicator? It came with 2 bottles. I used the one to get rid of light, now I want to use the other one to get rid of the dark lol.
Also will head & shoulders remove hair dye?
I died my hair a really dark brown (kinda black) over really gold, light brown hair. (its ugly on me) Its permanant but every time I try to dye it medium brown it washes out right away to the gold. Will this be the same way?

I could also use some help finding out a way that isnt permanent but that will actually stay in. BTW I have dirty blonde hair but u could kinda of say that its brown

I normally just use dye kits from wal-mart or the drug store. My hair is brownish blonde & i just dont know if it will come out rite if i did it myself. I was just going to get black dye & then a bleaching kit cus highlight kits dont work good on my hair.

Hi, I’m 11 & a female. I want to dye my hair black because black is my favorite color & it’s something I’ve dreamed about since before I was 4. Right now it’s brown. (not really light, but not extremely dark) I live with my grandparents because my dad is in prison & my mom died. They’re pretty young though. One is 54 & one is 49. Anyway, I feel really strongly about this & all I want to do is express myself with my hair. I’ve tried telling them that & other reasons why I should be able to dye it & they always say “You’re too young” & “Your hair is beautiful!”. I’ve been trying really hard to get them to understand but I can’t, & I don’t want to do it behand their backs because I’m just not like that. Okay, so I decided I could settle for just the tips & they just sat there & laughed their heads off. I’m about to show them pictures of dyed tips when I submit this & go back downstairs. Maybe it will work but I don’t think so. They won’t even let me try wash-out dye so I can show them that it doesn’t look insane. I just don’t understand why the idea of it is so bizzare to them. I mean, they let my aunt dye her hair PURPLE when she was little. I asked them if that was why I can’t & they said they kind of liked her purple hair, but I don’t get it. I just want some things to use for my side of the argument because I’ve tried everything that I could find when I sat down for hours searching what to do. They just won’t listen, so I need something really over the top to say, & something where they can’t use my age & current hair against me. Thanks…

I just trimmed two inches of my hair ( but it’s still pretty long!) & now my friend is going to help me dye the tips of my hair either black or a purple/lavender. I know when a person bleaches or dyes their hair it can make the hair really dry & unhealthy so I was wondering what their is that I can do to keep my hair (specifically tips) healthy. anyone?

My hair is light blonde & very long (about to the middle of my back). I just got done with my first year of high school, & just for the summer I wanted to dye just the tips of my hair hot hot pink. I would only dye about an inch or an inch & a half on the tips. I, personally, think it would look cool. And if I end up not liking it, I can always cut just the ends off. My mom is a hair stylist & said she would help, but I was wondering which techniques work the best, & what brands of hair dye I should use. I’ve been looking into Manic Panic. Any suggestions?

I dyed my hair black like a month ago & now i wanna do it light brown with blonde ends or tips like those scene people do i have to bleach it also?

I want to dye my hair chocolate brown & get rid of the regrowth halfway down my head, but will the blonde tips go a caramel colour or just go orange?

first if all you can go to an hair stylist but if your trying to do it yourself you can part your hair in alot of quarter size boxes & then put rubber bands around them at the root & then where you want your color to start at then take your color & dip each ponytail & then walaa! you tips are done like you went to an professional

I’m 13 (almost 14) & i got light brown hair, i want to use wash-out dye. But knowing my mom she probably won’t let me, how can i convice her to??

None of my family members wont help me & I really would like to have it done today

i am dyeing my hair red & then dark brown – so it turns out a dark brown with red tones. but i am thinking about leaving some red flashes. can i get tips on how to do this & what parts of my hair to leave?????? i have died my hair before & gave myself high lights just never done flashes !??!!?! please help & thanks !!!!!!

And I will not shower anything but regularly.
