Hair Dye Answers

I bleached my hair & the lady at Sallys gave me a purple toner which left purple in my hair. Then I went back & she said it would all come out if I used a different toner. This turned my hair brown.
I am a blonde at heart so this makes me sad. Can I wait a couple weeks then bleach my hair & then dye it a blonde color instead of using a toner?

what would it do would it work my hair is black the bleach would make it blonde & i would dye it brown.

What do you think? My hair is just like in my avatar picture now. I am a guy, & I’m going for more of a scene look. Any hints, pointers, tips? I’m considering doing it myself but I’m probably going to get it done professionally. I’ve been told the tips might come out a little orange, & I don’t want that at all, so how can I prevent this?

I normally just use dye kits from wal-mart or the drug store. My hair is brownish blonde & i just dont know if it will come out rite if i did it myself. I was just going to get black dye & then a bleaching kit cus highlight kits dont work good on my hair.

Here’s the scoop: I am an idiot. I jumped the gun & decided to add some highlights to my dark blonde roots to blend better with the rest of my blonde hair. I only did a few & they ended up turning into peachy blobs on my head after the max 45 mins. It didn’t actually look THAT bad & was fixable. Then I got a really really stupid idea & got boxed golden brown dye. I thought I could just go over the peachy blobs & get it back to how it looked in the begining.
It ended up turning my roots a hideous coppery warm color & the rest of my hair completely ashy & DISGUSTING.
(I decided to just cover my whole head instead of the peachy colored blobs).
Needless to say I started scrubbing & washing my hair immediately after I did the initial rinse. I’ve washed my hair 10 times already today.
I looked at the box & another mistake is that it was permanent but amonia free.
Here’s my question, will Amonia free permanent hair dye fade faster then if it had Amonia in it??

I know that bleaching/stripping black hair (im chinese) will make it turn to yelowish/greenish. How long does this process take e.g. 1day, week or 2 weeks?
THEN i want to DYE it light brunette. Can this be done RIGHT AFTER i bleached my hair?
And what is a hair toner used for? I cant seem to find a straight answer anywhere. Is it the same as dye or are they two diffrent ways in dying your hair.
Im just asking because when i dyed it brunette awhile back it turned ORANGE & i dont want to make the same mistake because i know black hair is unpredictable. I also go college & i dont want to go with my hair messed up.

Okay, so I originally had a dark brown hair color then bleached apart of my hair a light orangey-brown (none touching the scalp or any skin). two days after that i wanted to dye my whole head blue black. Is it safe? or if not then what yucky color will my bleached part of my hair turn into?

I dyed my hair black back in December of 2007, & I want to dye it blue-black with Raw Demi-permanent dye from Hot Topic. I know if I dye my hair blue-black with it already being black I won’t be able to see the blue in it. I really don’t want to be a blonde for a long period of time. so my mom whos lazy as heck wont take me to get my hair dyed but she doesnt care if i actually do it so my friends mom offered to help me do it & i was gonna dye it like a dark honey blonde then get blond highlights but im afraid to do it cuz it sounds complicated to do on ur own so do u have any tips on wut to do? thanks alot! =) BTW i have naturally dark brown hair

Question says it all. I have black hair. First time bleaching, yes I will do it at a professional. I just wanna know the price of it all when I bleach & dye. Also will my hair drop out?

To dye my hair a sligtly lighter color, do I bleach & then immediately dye? Should I use regular hair bleach or is there a certain kind of bleach to use if you’re gonna dye it right after?

Can I bleach my hair overtop of already dyed hair (I did it 2 months ago dark brown) & then after the bleaching, dye it a more realistic, natural blond? I have bleached my hair before, I just don’t know how it would turn out overtop of already dyed hair? And then if the blonde overtop would change anything?

My roots are showing, so I need to dye my hair black
again. I also want some blonde chunks in my hair. So,
I was wondering, if I bleached a couple chunks in my
hair, will I need to dye it platinum blonde, or will it already
be that color after I wash out the bleach? &, if I would have
to dye it after the bleach, can I do it in one day, or should
I just wait a couple days?
So, basically, my questions are, can I dye my hair black,
bleach chunks in my hair, & dye the chunks blonde in one day?
& if I bleach my hair, will I even need to dye it blonde,
