Hair Dye Answers

Im thinking about dyeing my hair, I have a chestnutty brown, but I want to dye it darker. But im worried if I dye it I will permenatly skrew up my hair. Or can I dye it darker & then if I want my old hair color back can I dye it back to a very similar color?

What color should i dye my hair?
i need a new hair style & color but i cant decide what fits my body type im 5′10″ & curvy

um my eyes are soooooo green i hate it & my hair is thick but soooo strait & i look best i slate (its a green) so ineed a color that goes with that
my skin is a peachy sandy color
my natural hair color is dirty blond
im thinking may by i should go with red becaue it would go with my eyes
i also look good in brown & dark reds
and i like to wear green & brown eye shadow
im thinking an inch over my sholers layered & dark redishy brown

The salons aren’t covering all of my roots. I have said something over & over. I went to a different salon & I had the same problem. I was born a toe head, but after the years it became a medium to dark blonde. My hair has natural golden highlights so I need something that won’t give me the brassy tones. Thank you!

i saw a picture of a hair color i loved but i cant find the name of the color. if i brought in the picture to my hair stylist can they dye my hair that color just by looking at the picture?

if so, how long should the dye stay in the brows & how long will the color stay in the brows?
do i have to constantly dye it from now on?
does it have to be a shade darker than the head hair color?

cause i can’t afford to get it done at the salon. However, my hair is pretty long ( 4 or 5 inches below my shoulders) & i don’t want it to go patchy. What do you recommend, should i buy two boxes of hair dye? or will there be enough for long hair?

My natural hair color is dirty blonde. I have dyed it 2 times already. First I dyed it a little light brown, then a dark brown that came with a little bit of red shade’s in it. What color should I dye it next? What would be your opinion? My hair is already fading back to my dirty blonde(since I get the semi-permanent blonde, meaning it will wash out in a few months.) So, what do you think?

I am a 15 year old boy & everyone keeps telling me i look better with the lighter colored hair i had when i was younger. I don’t want to dye it, but just lighten it to a blonde color. My hair is a dirty blonde color. A little darker than that tho. I just finished putting peroxide in it. I walked outside to get the sun to hit it but nothing really happened. Please help!

I’ve heard that shampoos & conditioners for brown dyed hair for example have a little bit of the dye in em to preserve the color. Is this true?

I dyed my hair last week & I used Loreal Paris hair dye. I bought the brand name color saving shampoo & I am using the conditioner it comes with once a week as the package directs. Is there any things I should or shouldnt do to keep my hair color intact?

i want to add a crazy color to my hair but its brown so i have to lighten & i almost killed my hair with bleach its ok & i want to dye it again so can i use a blonde thats not bleach & get the same results?

I had strawberry blonde hair (108 Nice N Easy Natural Reddish Blonde), but it looked kind of dull, so the Clairol Expert on the phone suggested dying it again. Well, I decided to leave it to the professionals this time, figuring I wanted a very subtle natural change. The colorist made my hair an auburn, very vibrant color, which I DID NOT want. The keyword I told her was natural, which my hair is not right now. Even after washing, it hasn’t faded at all. I called & explained that I wasn’t satisfied, so I’m going tomorrow for a color correction. Other than highlights & dying my hair brown, what can I do to lighten my color? I wanted to use Colorfix or Color Oops, but I don’t think I should pay for their mistake. I want my hair back to the strawberry blonde, but a little more strawberry. What would this entail in a salon (lightening my hair)? Is there anyway to do this without bleaching my entire head? Can I just do a soap cap or toner or color remover & dye again?

I bleached my hair & the lady at Sallys gave me a purple toner which left purple in my hair. Then I went back & she said it would all come out if I used a different toner. This turned my hair brown.
I am a blonde at heart so this makes me sad. Can I wait a couple weeks then bleach my hair & then dye it a blonde color instead of using a toner?

i bleached my hair & dyed it several times (about 7) & i want to go back to my natural hair color.
i have naturally asian dark hair (dark-brown to black)
and i have dyed my hair light brown & red. but a few months ago i stopped dying it.
