Hair Dye Answers

I’m dying my hair purple. I’m bleaching it first. I understand that after mixing the powder & bleach developer, it turns into a paste that I apply to my hair. 30 or so minutes later I wash this out. My purple, demi-permanent hair dye instructs to apply it to dry hair.
Should I wait for my bleached hair to dry or just apply the purple dye when it’s wet?

I am wanting to bleach my hair & continuously put temporary/semi temporary hair dye in, but do I have to re-bleach it over again before putting another color in(after temporary color fades completely), or will it fade back to the bleach color so I won’t have to re-bleach?
(My natural hair color is dark brown…but right now it is dark reddish brown).

So i have natural dirty blonde hair & i bleached it a while back. I decided i wanted to go brown & used to boxes of dark brown hair dye.. That was a mistake i now have well brownish greenish hair… I would like to get it bleached again (professional) But would it turn green? Please help, thanks

I could also use some help finding out a way that isnt permanent but that will actually stay in. BTW I have dirty blonde hair but u could kinda of say that its brown

Okay, so I originally had a dark brown hair color then bleached apart of my hair a light orangey-brown (none touching the scalp or any skin). two days after that i wanted to dye my whole head blue black. Is it safe? or if not then what yucky color will my bleached part of my hair turn into?

I dyed my hair black back in December of 2007, & I want to dye it blue-black with Raw Demi-permanent dye from Hot Topic. I know if I dye my hair blue-black with it already being black I won’t be able to see the blue in it. I really don’t want to be a blonde for a long period of time. So how long should I wait between bleaching & then dying it again?

i hear bleaching really damages your hair but since i have naturally black hair white/turquoise/aqua wont show up unless i bleach it (i’m only doing the tips) my question is couldnt i just use a blonde or white-blonde dye instead of bleaching? or would that not work? if it would what dye should i use?

I dyed my hair dark brown, which came out almost black. I hated it, so I bleached it so I could dye it a lighter brown. After bleaching, my hair was bright orange. I knew that the light brown dye would not be able to cover this color. Even though I was afraid of damage, I bleached it again, so it’d go blonde. I then dyed my hair light brown.
I was right about double-bleaching being too much for my hair. My hair has dried out considerably. In particular, there are a few patches of hair that are so dry & porous that after I wash my hair, it feels sticky after the rest of my hair is dry, because it is holding so much water. These bits of hair didn’t hold the hair dye at all, & came out blonde.
My hair color is now very uneven, with obvious looking light patches. What can I do? The parts of my hair that are the most damaged are right at the top of my head, & the only way I could cut them out would be to practically shave my head. Is there any way of reversing the damage?

I had black hair,and it had to be bleached to be reversed. Because I was bleaching over black hair dye,my hair turned orange. To get rid of the orange, my hairdresser bleached it again. Although it’s almost a normal blonde colour, it still has a yellow-ish hue. My hairdresser suggested one more bleaching,to get rid of the brassy tones & make it pure blonde,but ( I know this might sound stupid) I’m afraid my hair will fall out. Although there’s no indication of hairloss now (other than my split end breaking but thats due to the fact that i havent cut my hair in nearly a year),but I just fear the 3rd bleaching will make my hair fall out/ go bald.Please let me know

I’ve had the wordt kind of bleaching accident, & I know it happens very often i’d just like a reliable answer. I bleache it today & the outcome is disatorous, I have no money to visit a salon an do it right + making the matter worse i’m starting my new job on monday
would using an ashy blonde aolour reverse the effects? please any help would be appreiciated…i’, in a sticky situation! thx x.x
