Hair Dye Answers

Hi. I have dyed red hair, & a few days ago when i was bleaching my daughters hair, i decided to bleach some of my bangs. It turned out really well, a pretty blonde. However, I need to redo my roots of the rest of my hair red. Any ideas how i can do this without getting any red on the new blonde? (I do it myself, not professionally) thanks!!

Ok..so I had my naturally dark brown hair bleached & dyed it red which was a total mistake. Ive been reading reviews on Colorfix & people have claimed that it could restore your hair to its natural color or something close to it. I was wondering if Colorfix will work on my hair since my hair was bleached & colorfix only removes permanent hair dye. Will using Colorfix leave my hair with just the bleached color?

I bleached my hair & then dyed it purple. But then i went in the pool… bad mistake. It was permanent purple hair dye from hot topic. But know my previoulsy bleached & then purplified hair is turning the same ugle brown its always been!!! why is this… it makeds me so sad… i didnt hink it was possible for bleached hair to turn brown again… i thought if anythign it would turn blonde & i could just dye it again…

I went to a hairdresser in the CBD today & asked if they had green hair dye & she showed me the different colours of Fudge hair dye they had & she told me they didnt have the green one anymore. And then she told me that it would’ve only lasted 3 or 4 washes in my hair anyway, since I would have to get it bleached before applying it.
Is this true? And does this apply with Manic Panic/Special Effects? And if I’m not mistaken.. Fudge hair dye is just semi-permanent, isn’t it? Is Manic Panic & Special Effects semi-permanent as well? How long does it last?
Also, can someone suggest places in Sydney where I can get my hair done professionally [they have to have green hair dye too].

my hair is bleached & nasty. Its very weak & brittle but i need to get my hair dark. I cannot go around with this disgusting hair.
I need a dye that will make me darker without causing hair loss. I bleached my hair 8 days ago & it was already over processed. My hair started braking off really badly. What can i do? i need a normal colour back.

I tried to bleach my bangs & they turned a horrible orange & light yellow color. I really hate it. If i dye my hair black, will it cover the bleach mistakes? I want my hair to be black again.

I’m waiting for the purple to fade to the point where I looks bad, & then I plan on dying it a permanent color close to my original brown. I plan on using a VO5 hot oil treatment, before & after, to help add moister. I also use main ‘n tail shampoo & conditioner. The only problem is, I’m taking SCUBA diving as a high school gym class…which means we’ll be in a chlorinated pool. Any ideas?

what do i do?? it looks nice but i mean it just gets lighter & lighter… i died it reallllyyy dark brown hair(my natural color), & now my hair is … almond-ish ! i died it like 3 times over & over but the color just doesnt wanna stay … i dont wanna be blonde! DON’T EVER BLEACH UR HAIR! i just wanted to see what i would look like as a blonde… stupid mistake..

Some time ago, I dyed my hair pink, & since I have brown hair, it was bleached first. Now, all the pink is gone, & I can get green as long as I find out if it will damage my hair.
I want to put the green over the old bleach, since putting in more bleach will burn my hair.
So, is putting the new color over it damaging?

I’m not sure if it’s ok to use a blonde “dye”. . .I was told you cant put color on color. I’m currently using a protein treatment from Cat to reverse some of the damaging effects of the bleach.I’m looking for a platinum blonde. I decided to go blonde.It is really bronze..and my roots are growing fast.I know bleach is permanent.Im afraid to experiment on my hair anymore…I know i can go CRAZY with whacky colors…but I just want to go back to my natural hair color.If I just put on brown hair dye? what will happen?and is there any products i can use to eventually dye my hair back to brown?

I’ve had my hair bleach blonde (almost white) for the past three months. I want it to look more natural so I want a darker color, but I still want to be blonde. Would I be able to buy a box of blonde hair dye in a darker color & have my hair turn out okay? Would I need a filler? I can’t go to a professional right now. If I bought golden blonde dye would it turn red since there’s no pigment in my hair now?
