Is It Possible To Dye Blonde Hair Lighter Without Bleach?
I have naturally dark blonde hair which I have never dyed. I want to dye it medium blonde at home with a boxed hair dye. If I choose a hair color that is lighter than my hair will it actually lighten it or just not show up? I’ve heard that box dyes just deposit color. Will it do anything if my hair is darker?

I recommend that you don’t use box dye. I suggest that you go to a salon & have them weave in bleach it will lighten your hair without damaging it to much. People tend to think bleach will ruin your hair but when you weave it your not damaging it as much as you would if you tried to use color. but you should never! use box dye it is really bad for your hair & probably wont lighten it like you want it to. It will turn a yellowish ugly color. believe me I tried to use box blonde dye on my hair & I looked like a banana.
