should have kept your brown hair. why would you want to be blond anyway?

You would only need to buy a little bit of bleach powder & creme developer.
If you bleach the bangs once or twice it should be enough to dye red over the top

you have to bleach it. using blonde dye over hair dyed black will do the same thing red dye over dyed black hair would – nothing. get a 30 volume peroxide bleach kit. mix it up exactly haw it says in the instructions & apply it to just the area you want to be red. apply it to dry, unwashed hair. leave it on for as long as it takes for it to be at least orange – usually around 40 minutes to an hour. it doesn’t have to be any lighter than orange ’cause you’ll just be dying it red – you won’t be able to tell that it was ever orange – it will be the same color red you use. then rinse, shampoo, & deep condition the bleached hair. wait about a day or 2 after you bleach to dye it to give your hair time to repair. deep condition it as much as you can before you dye. this will make the color last longer, since red dye is notorious for fading.
try the middle kit: http://www.clairol.com/niceneasy/born_bl…
good luck!
