Um… Heh, How Do I Get Permanent Hair Dye Out Of My Hair O.o?

I had a little accident with permanent red hairdye about a week ago… ^.^’ my friend came around & we were dying hir hair red for a horror party at school & by mistake when I was washing my hair I used ‘hair treatment for split ends’. you leave it on for 20 minutes. However, that was his hairdye, & I didn’t realize that until I saw that I have red hands, I washed it off really fast & now I have red dots all over my hair, they are like giant splats >..< I will love you forever (as a stranger-danger of course…)

If you go to a salon, they can strip all the dye out, but it costs a lot of money.

if it was permanent hair dye, then it’s permanent. Just dye it back to a natural color, it won’t hurt your hair if you don’t do it all the time & it’s not going to come out any other way.

You can buy a color remover at the store.
I dont know what its called but ask the sales associate & they should know what you mean.
Or just dye it back to your natural color.

Well to get it out, with out dyeing over it, you need to go to a salon so they can strip the color out of your hair, it goes for about 70$ at an average hair salon, but other than that, theres no other way

There’s no way to remove the red color (that’s why it’s called “permanent”) without stripping all the color from your hair.
You’ll have to either dye over it, or cut your hair shorter if the red isn’t all the way up to your scalp.

You can get the color stripped out most likely, but that tends to ruin your hair. I’d see if you can get your parents to let you dye it back to your normal color. Go to a really good salon & ask them to match your hair color with a dye & dye those spots back.
It’s going to cost you, whatever you do, but maybe your mom will feel sorry for you & pay for it.
    Good luck.

Ask your mom to buy you some color stripper,
or go to a professional & let them strip the color
out. The only other way to do this would be to hope
your hair grows fast & to let it grow out, but thats
    not going to happen.
So color stripper, i’m not sure how badly it damages your
hair. I have 2 friends that have gone through it & neither
one of them have damaged hair. They went from completely
black hair back to their natural brown hair.

You’re gonna have to condition it soooo much now.
Stripping your hair will do so MUCH damage to your hair.
Wait at least 5 days to dye it darker.
If would tell you to wait a week but you don’t have much time…
    And then condition it.
    I mean DEEP condition it.
Leave that stuff on for about 30-50 minutes on.
There is this reconstructor stuff that was really expensive, but it fixes your hair & makes it soft again…
Also if you don’t want to mess with this stuff yourself, I suggest you go to a professional at a beauty salon.
This is the best option because you don’t want to screw your hair up & have it fall off =]
    Good Luck!
