Do I Use A Red Bottle Dye First Before Dying My Bleach Blonde Hair Brown?

I am wanting to go back to brown & I just want to do it at home. Do I use a red hair dye first then use a brown?

    That would only cause unnecessary damage. Blonde hair will take any colour dye.

    when hair has been bleached, all the natural underlying pigment has been stripped away, hence why the hair will go through the stages of brown to orange/ginger, yellow then finally pale yellow. so all the natural red pigment that is a base for brown has been permanently removed.
    when wanting to go back to brown hair then yes, the red pigment needs to be returned to the hairshafts or else the hair will turn a funky khaki shade – yellow + brown = khaki. so the answer is yes- you will need to use a red dye & THEN the brown.

    No, if you want red hair, then you would used red hair dye. otherwise don’t use it.
    if you are going from bleached hair, back to brown, then you need to used a hair filler. it is put on your hair just like hair color would be. The purpose of hair filler is because when you bleach your hair, you are taking everything out of it, so the filler add it back in, because hair color does not. it just sits on the top of your hair cuticle.
