i think you should just leave it alone for at least a year if it broke off as much as it did.
unless you want a chemical haircut :/

DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! go to the salon & the doctor & ask them about it. i’m afraid for you :[
you should also take some Hair & Nails vitamins. & eat a lot of protein. so your hair will be stronger for when you decide to dye it later on.

I wouldn’t add more chemicals to your hair if you had that kind of accident not that long ago. Talk to your hairdresser, they could apply maybe a lesser harsh treatment to your hair to help you out. Good luck though, sorry that happened to you!

well first of all relaxers can be used on all different types of peoples hair. So who ever informed you of that was wrong. Second ur hair will be fine if your coloring your hair darker. Its when you lightening your hair it will start to break off again. Until the relaxer is all out dont lightening your hair.

If you used the relaxer 5 or 6 months ago, the likely answer is that most of the chemicals are now gone. If you have taken good care of it since your unfortunate accident, then chances are you *should* be safe with dying it black. What colour is it now? If it is fairly light-coloured, then perhaps it would be best to consult with a professional, if not get the whole thing done by a pro? It may be more expensive but you’ll regret it if you do it yourself for a quarter of the price & end up with no hair! :)
If you want to dye your hair, don’t use a permanent black dye. Use demi-permanent colour which still lasts about 10 washes but doesn’t contain as many harmful chemicals as a permanent conditioner.
As for the half of your hair being longer/denser than the other half, DEFINITELY go & check that out with your hairdresser – I’m sure it won’t cost too much for them to even it out with a few snips, & your hair will look super once you’ve pepped it up with a new cut. :)
