i dont think it an give you cancer. ive highlighted my hair since i was in about 5th grade, & around 1 1/2-3 months(havent reli been counting) ago i dyed my hair a reddish brown & nothings happened to me. im about to be in eighth grade, and im fine. yea, there is organic hair dye. my mom went to a place called belleza & they had it, but it washed out after a couple weeks. the color is good tho. so if u dont like the color, when u use organic dye, u wont have to worry about it being in for forever

Most hair dyes may or may not cause cancer. Allot of chemicals put into food & health & beauty products are poorly tested. If someone did get cancer from using these products there would be no way to know.
Remember led used to be widely used, & now we know its bad. Same as asbestos. A whole list of other chemicals have been banned that had been once widely used as ’safe’.
There is a such thing as organic hair dye. More than likely there is an organic/whole foods store in your area that sells it. Try looking it up on the yellow pages or online. Also just a suggestion, I wouldn’t think that you would need organic hair dye as much as all natural hair dye, both of which are free of added chemicals (only difference being that organic hair dye’s plant derivatives where not sprayed with pesticides/herbicides/fungicides).
