Hair Dye Answers

will this look good? i have veryyy dark brown(black) hair & i wanna dye the tips/ends of my hair brown or light brown but ive never seen anyone with this kind of color & im not sure what the results will be..
i dont want to do aynthing drastic like blonde or pink or blue or purple or something,….
any comments to this idea???

On saturday night i dyed my hair natural black by loreal feria. that hair color on the box looked pretty natural. i thought what the heck ill give it a try. Right after the shower, i thought BIG MISTAKE. Looks like a total wig! Its extremely black than anyones natural hair color. My natural hair is dark brown to almost black. WOW. I really want it to fade & look natural & i totally regret doing this because its taughting me everyday. I DO NOT want to bleach my hair or do anything costly or damaging. I do not want to fry my hair ;( i had light brown highlights & i wanted to get rid of it..So now i already tried dawn dishsoap & head & shoulders…Any solutions or will it fade overtime & i just have to be patient?
All my friends say it matches me & looks natural…im filipino with tan skin..but to me it looks horrible & fake..PLEASE HELP!

I originally have dark brown hair. but i dyed it jet black a few months ago. I now want to have my bangs died red. but i know the color wont show unless i bleach or dye it blond. but how do i do that???
Ps. Please dont tell me to go to the salon, im so not wasting my money again!

I had a little accident with permanent red hairdye about a week ago… ^.^’ my friend came around & we were dying hir hair red for a horror party at school & by mistake when I was washing my hair I used ‘hair treatment for split ends’. you leave it on for 20 minutes. However, that was his hairdye, & I didn’t realize that until I saw that I have red hands, I washed it off really fast & now I have red dots all over my hair, they are like giant splats >..< I will love you forever (as a stranger-danger of course…)

So i want to dye my hair red with black tips, but im only in 7th grade so i dont know what to do. Can you also give me some tips on how to do it & maybe some pics of the end result just in case i end up dying it. thanks!

I had to bleach my hair to put on the dye but i want to take out the color.
Would stripping the color take out the bleach too??

Here’s the scoop: I am an idiot. I jumped the gun & decided to add some highlights to my dark blonde roots to blend better with the rest of my blonde hair. I only did a few & they ended up turning into peachy blobs on my head after the max 45 mins. It didn’t actually look THAT bad & was fixable. Then I got a really really stupid idea & got boxed golden brown dye. I thought I could just go over the peachy blobs & get it back to how it looked in the begining.
It ended up turning my roots a hideous coppery warm color & the rest of my hair completely ashy & DISGUSTING.
(I decided to just cover my whole head instead of the peachy colored blobs).
Needless to say I started scrubbing & washing my hair immediately after I did the initial rinse. I’ve washed my hair 10 times already today.
I looked at the box & another mistake is that it was permanent but amonia free.
Here’s my question, will Amonia free permanent hair dye fade faster then if it had Amonia in it??

I want to dye my hair chocolate brown & get rid of the regrowth halfway down my head, but will the blonde tips go a caramel colour or just go orange?

I have dyed my hair bleach blonde for 10+ years & I want to change my color to dark auburn with out completely ruining it. I would like to know any advice anyone has on the proper steps to take to get the color I want & not some horrible shade of pink.

first if all you can go to an hair stylist but if your trying to do it yourself you can part your hair in alot of quarter size boxes & then put rubber bands around them at the root & then where you want your color to start at then take your color & dip each ponytail & then walaa! you tips are done like you went to an professional

I have quite dark brown hair. In the past had blonde highlights, auburn highlights, red hair & dark dark brown hair (was almost black…hairdresser made mistake).

It doesn’t sink in that far! If you have an open wound or an area that is not completely healed it can cause some irritation & possibly an infection.

I’m 13 (almost 14) & i got light brown hair, i want to use wash-out dye. But knowing my mom she probably won’t let me, how can i convice her to??

None of my family members wont help me & I really would like to have it done today

I’ve dyed my hair a lot lately(mistake) but I want healthy, silky hair.

I’ve recently dyed my bleach blonde hair to a medium brown (successfully) but I want hilights. I know I will have to wait a few weeks & condition excessively, but as for the hi-lights, I do not want to use bleach AGAIN over the previously bleached, now brown hair, because it will turn white, lifeless, grey toned, etc.
Can I hi-light this hair with just a permanent blonde dye? Will it work?

I dyed my hair black with REVLON COLORSILK. It was a mistake…my natural color is med-light brown. I just want a dark brown color…what can I do????? I bought prell shampoo. Will that help? I can’t afford to go to a salon. =[

my hair is currently dyed black, & I want to bleach my hair blonde, veryy light, cause i am dying my hair purple. I’ve used manic panic, but it killed my hair when i did. so i wont use that again. I want to bleach it the least amount of times. I am thinking of going to sally’s beauty supply to buy my products, any suggestions of a few really good products from there?
