Hair Dye Answers

I bought a color that I really love & only bought one box, when I went back it was all sold out so I bought the same color but another brand. there are no warnings about it on the box, do you think its safe?

I have dyed my hair with gariner frutics r3 & I want to take the color out & dye my hair a honey blonde color with revlon no ammonia blonde dye, would this be possible or should I just grow out old color?
Also my hair is naturally black witha brownish tint.

I’m naturally a dirty blonde hair color, but I currently have bleach blonde hair. I’d say my I have about 1/2 inch of my dirty blonde roots right now (it doesn’t look very appealing). I’d like to be able to dye my hair the same color without having to bleach my roots before dying all my hair. I hope that makes sense. Anyone know how to achieve this? (I will not go to a stylist, im poor, so box dye will be used as I always have.)

I really like my natural hair color but I wasn’t sure if temporary dyes would ruin it or damage it. I only want a temporary color for a couple weeks. Any suggestions?

I got the Cherry Red Color Fiend hair dye from Hot Topic, & I have Dark brown hair. Will it show up? And how many washes does it take to get it out? How do I use it?

i want to dye my hair blonde but my mom wont let me. she says i can use the non permanent hair dye which washes out a little every time you take a shawor. there is some by the company called L’oreal that i want to get. I heard that if i buy any blonde dye that it will make my hair orange. is there a way to do this without getting it orange? any suggestions? pleasee help!

well right now i have like dark brownish hair colour & for some reason i still have it even though i put it on last year summer & it is reeeaaalllyy dark & so it only shows in the sun.
My natural hair colour is black – not dark dark black but a little brownish.
My skin colour is medium brown as im an asian.
I want to have it brown or jet black.

My school is very strict about their dress code.
We wear uniforms & can’t have odd piercing & girls can only have ear piercings.
We can’t have distracting hair colors (nothing that’s not natural (blue, bright red, pink, etc.))
I dyed my hair dark blue last year & got in trouble.
i tried explaining to them that no one would want to dye their hair strange colors but me (because my school only has about 400 students & their all mostly preps).
i have naturally black hair so how can i dye it to look more punk?
it would have to be a natural color (like blonde, brown, natural red)
please give suggestions that can be done at home.

I’m a blonde with awesome natural highlights. And I really like my hair color… But I want to try something different. I want to dye my hair a dark brown. My eyebrows are darker, so I wouldnt have to dye them. But I’ve never dyed my hair before. Will I be able to get my natural hair color back? I don’t want to have to dye my hair for the rest of my life because I hate when people’s roots show. Any suggestions for how do go about this?

recentley just dyed my hair platinum blonde which i really don’t like it is more ginger than blonde my hair was blonde to start of with & i really liked people with platinum blonde hair so i decided to try it out which has gone all wrong please help !!

I currently have a brown shade of hair.
My hair’s history with dye:
First I got blonde highlights from my hairdresser, I naturally have a auburn colored hair. Then I continued with the highlights for a while but I did them on my own with bleach from hot topic.
Then, I went to my hairdresser a second time, & got my hair done in brown. I liked it for a while, but the dye faded to a really light brown & it looked weird.
So I bought some VERY dark brown hair dye & did it myself, & it was gorgeous.
Then that faded, so I went to my hairdresser & got my hair dyed a dark brown with red in it.
Then I went & got it dyed a lighter brown-red.
Then I dyed it this gorgeous red (my hairdresser did it).
Then, (this is when everything for messed up) I went to the salon with my mother, who surprised me with blonde highlits that were very thin & made me look like I was graying. It was very unappealing, so after crying & all that good stuff, I went to the salon & bought me some dark bron hair dye to fix the mistake because I couldn’t go back to the salon on such short notice.
BUT… I want to dye my hair blonde. I’m not sure what shade, but a nice, light, blonde. My hair is dark now, & I want to do it at home because I have no money to go & pay for a lot of the expensive hair dye. But I’m not sure of what the best way to do it is.

i have light brown hair, i am planning on going to a dark dark dark brown. however, i cant stand my eyebrows being such a different color.
will it be okay to put some hair color on them? also, how often will i need to color them? it seems like i would need to do them more often than my hair, since i get my eyebrows waxed every 2 & a half weeks, & they wax & trim a lot of hair off…ya know? hmm…. thanks!

This chick at supercuts did my highlights but didn’t do them from root to tip. So i went to a salon & dyed my hair a deep red. I still see her mistake the first stylist. Should i now go dark brown? Or should i just leave it alone? I am a perfectionist & it bothers me when my hair is all jaxed up.

So, I just bleached my hair so that I can put some fun colors in with Color Fiend Temporary Hair Dye. I just bleached it about a week ago, how long should I wait before going wild with the temporary dyes?
Are the temporary dyes going to damage my hair even more than the bleach?
And does it have an expiration date?

Dyed my hair BLONDE turned out ORANGE then dyed my hair TWO more times & STILL was ORANGE!! So I dyed my hair an almost BLACK color & it turned dark black. I want my hair back to light brown. Any Advice??
